Jon Pruitt is Chief Data Officer at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, where he leads the Airport’s data, artificial intelligence, and geospatial strategy. With over 20 years of IT leadership across Fortune 500 companies and government agencies, he has built a career at the intersection of technology strategy and applied data science, turning enterprise data into operational intelligence at the busiest airport in the world.
Mr. Pruitt’s current focus centers on advancing AI-driven decision-making, predictive analytics, and geospatial intelligence to improve airport operations, safety, and passenger experience. He champions the responsible adoption of AI and machine learning across the enterprise, building the data infrastructure and governance needed to scale these technologies effectively.
A Florida native, Jon Pruitt holds a Bachelor of Science in computer information systems, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration focusing on organizational leadership and development. His technical and strategic foundation spans software development, systems engineering, and executive IT leadership. He is also an active member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).
