Restaurant Week also brings new energy to retail, with grand openings for locally renowned brands Atlanta Influences Everything, Atlanta Beltline Market,
and The Village Retail on April 22.
At its core, Restaurant Week is a celebration of how ATL is redefining the traveler experience —
turning airport time into something engaging, memorable, and worth exploring.
Transform your layover into an experience. No gate hugging required.
If you’ve ever walked through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and spotted someone rocking a “This Is My Airport” T-shirt, you’re not alone in wondering, “Where can I get one of those?”
Now, for a limited time, you finally can.
Shop@ATL, the Airport’s new online merchandise store, just launched in celebration of its 100th anniversary and it’s more than just a store, it’s a love letter to the city of Atlanta, its people, and the global travelers who pass through every day.
The pop-up shop went live earlier this month and features a wide range of items celebrating the Airport’s Centennial and its identity as the world’s busiest airport. From shirts and hats to mugs, baby onesies, and pet gear, Shop@ATL allows travelers and locals alike to proudly rep ATL.
“One of the most iconic things we have as an ad specialty piece is the ‘This Is My Airport’ T-shirt,” said Elise Durham, assistant general manager for Marketing and Communications at ATL. “People love that. This city has a flair and flavor that’s somehow reflected in that very simplistic T-shirt. It celebrates how much we ride for our city here.”
The idea for a merch site had been floating around for years, largely due to the popularity of the “This Is My Airport” shirt. Employees often asked (and were often asked) where to buy it, but there was never an official option.
Now, Shop@ATL offers the iconic tee in styles for men, women, kids, toddlers, babies and pets.
In addition to the iconic tee, the store also features limited-edition ATL100 merchandise designed to commemorate the world’s busiest and most efficient airport’s century of service and innovation.
That sense of pride, Durham explained, is what sparked the launch of Shop@ATL.
“The e-commerce site has been years in the making,” said Monica Pope, marketing project manager at ATL. “It was launched to offer exclusive and highly sought-after merchandise to employees, family, friends, the aviation community, and now, anyone wanting to celebrate the Centennial with us.”
“We have an international audience. We’re the busiest airport in the world,” Durham said. “With this being an e-commerce store, we did that specifically to reach the world. People from all over the world come through Atlanta.”
Whether you’re an ATL employee, a frequent flyer who calls the Airport a second home, or someone who just appreciates a good tee with meaning, Shop@ATL is for you.
Shop the full collection at shopatl.com — but hurry, the pop-up is only live through July 18.

Sky-High Romance: The Best Date Spots at Hartsfield-Jackson
By: Jennifer Ogunsola Walters
Going on dates in an airport may seem rather unusual, but for some, it’s exactly this unpredictability (or spontaneity) that makes their connection thrive. For couples in long-distance relationships, or those whose lives are in perpetual motion, the hustle and bustle of an airport becomes a backdrop to their love story. Amid an airport’s constant motion and the steady rhythm of overhead announcements, couples find pockets of intimacy, transforming fleeting moments into lasting and cherished memories.
At ATL, the possibilities for these moments are endless. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is more than just a gateway to the world, it’s a destination where love can flourish in the most unexpected of settings. With over 300 award-winning options to shop, dine, and explore, ATL transforms from a mere transit point into a canvas for creating unforgettable memories. Whether you’re reconnecting with your partner after time apart, stealing a moment together before a long journey, or simply celebrating the here and now, the Airport’s unique atmosphere adds a layer of excitement to your date.
In a recent poll conducted on our Instagram, we asked our followers if they had ever had a romantic dinner at an airport. The results were telling: 20 respondents shared that they had experienced a wonderful dinner date, while 57 were intrigued by the idea and would give it a try. On the flip side, 54 voters preferred more traditional locations for their romantic dinners, and four indicated that while they had tried it, it wasn’t something they would do again. These responses reflect a diverse range of experiences and attitudes, but they also highlight a growing curiosity about the unique possibilities that airport dining can offer.
This summer, why not let the world’s busiest airport be the setting for your love story? Imagine sharing a meal in one of its top-tier restaurants, surrounded by the energy of global travelers and the anticipation of new adventures. It’s here that Ecco, One Flew South, and Cat Cora redefine what it means to dine at an airport. These culinary havens offer not just great food, but an experience that transcends the ordinary—a chance to connect over flavors and conversations that make your time together all the more special.
Dining Delights for Two
Ecco offers an elevated dining experience on Concourse F in the Mezzanine, where you and your partner can enjoy a refined menu of globally inspired dishes. The sleek, modern ambiance is perfect for an intimate dinner, whether you’re savoring a quiet moment before a flight or catching up after time apart. The menu is as diverse as the travelers who pass through, offering a range of options that cater to every palate.
Next, take a culinary journey to One Flew South, located at E Centerpoint. Known as one of the best airport restaurants in the world, this gem is a destination in itself. The restaurant blends Southern-inspired cuisine with global flavors, creating a dining experience that is both comforting and adventurous. Picture this: a shared plate of sushi, a glass of fine wine, and the soft buzz of airport life in the background—a setting that turns a simple meal into a truly unforgettable memory.
For those with a taste for Mediterranean flavors, Cat Cora on Concourse A provides a welcoming escape. Founded by the first female Iron Chef, this restaurant serves up delicious, wholesome dishes that are perfect for a health-conscious couple on the go. The light, airy space, coupled with a menu that features fresh, locally sourced ingredients, makes it an ideal spot to relax and refuel before your next adventure.
A Date with Adventure
ATL isn’t just about food; it’s also about the experience. After your dinner, take a stroll through the Airport’s many art installations. With over 1,000 artworks in one of the largest public art sites in the Southeastern U.S., there is plenty to explore. Or maybe do some shopping. Whether you’re picking out a last-minute gift or simply window shopping, ATL offers a variety of stores to suit every need and occasion.
If your date night involves a layover, consider exploring the Airport’s lounges, where you can enjoy a quiet moment. These spaces offer a chance to unwind, sip on a cocktail and plan your next destination together.
The Perfect Send-Off
Ending a date at the Airport doesn’t have to mean goodbye. Whether it’s a shared dessert or a last-minute photo in front of an iconic installation such as “Flight Paths” by Steve Waldeck in the Transportation Mall between concourses A and B, these small moments can be just as meaningful as the grandest of gestures. Hartsfield-Jackson proves that even in travel, love can flourish.
So next time you’re planning a date, why not think outside the box—or in this case, the concourse? With its vast array of dining options, shops, and experiences, ATL might just become your new favorite date-night destination.

Sometimes, nothing hits the spot like the familiar flavors of Taco Bell. Whether you’re in the mood for a crunchy taco, a cheesy quesadilla, or a loaded burrito, Taco Bell’s menu has it all. Don’t forget to customize your order with their famous sauces for an extra kick.
